Warner Bros. will be launching a streaming service focused on their DC Comics assets and the casting is being announced.

Alan Ritchson from Blue Mountain State and the short-lived Syfy series, Blood Drive and Minka Kelly from Friday Night Lights and most recently Jane The Virgin have been cast respectively as Hank Hall (better known as Hawk) and Dawn Granger (better known as Dove) in the Titans series coming to the DC Digital service; a new division of Warner Bros Digital Networks. Hawk & Dove were introduced by comic legends, Steve Skeates & Steve Ditko in the late 60’s. Initially the duo was made up of brothers Hank and Don Hall, but were replaced by Dawn and her sister Holly Granger after the events of Crisis on Infinite Earths. After Holly’s death, Hank reclaimed the mantle and joined Dawn, creating the current incarnation of Hawk & Dove, as it will be seen in the new Titans live-action series.

Blood Drive’s Alan Ritchson is set to play Hawk in the new live-action series Titans.

Friday Night Lights alumna Minka Kelly has been tapped to play Dove in the new live-action series Titans
