‘Titans’: Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly Cast As Hawk & Dove In DC Live-Action Series | Deadline

Warner Bros. will be launching a streaming service focused on their DC Comics assets and the casting is being announced.

Alan Ritchson from Blue Mountain State and the short-lived Syfy series, Blood Drive and Minka Kelly from Friday Night Lights and most recently Jane The Virgin have been cast respectively as Hank Hall (better known as Hawk) and Dawn Granger (better known as Dove) in the Titans series coming to the DC Digital service; a new division of Warner Bros Digital Networks. Hawk & Dove were introduced by comic legends, Steve Skeates & Steve Ditko in the late 60’s. Initially the duo was made up of brothers Hank and Don Hall, but were replaced by Dawn and her sister Holly Granger after the events of Crisis on Infinite Earths. After Holly’s death, Hank reclaimed the mantle and joined Dawn, creating the current incarnation of Hawk & Dove, as it will be seen in the new Titans live-action series.

DC Digital Titans Cast Dick Grayson

Warner Bros. will be launching a streaming service focused on their DC Comics assets and the casting is being announced.

Brenton Thwaites first came onto the screen as Luke Gallagher on the short-lived Australian series, SLiDE and has been cast to play the boy wonder, Dick Grayson; better known as the first Robin and later, Nightwing. Thwaites will star opposite Anna Diop in the Titans series coming to the DC Digital service; a new division of Warner Bros Digital Networks. 

Grayson was introduced by Bob Kane and Bill Finger in the 40s as a teenager, which was key to connecting young readers with the older Batman. As Grayson grew older, so did the readers and he was moved into his own story as Nightwing of the Teen Titans.

Titans and the 3rd seasons of Young Justice, titled; Young Justice: Outsiders are being used as the flagship series for DC Digital when it launches later this year.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’Brenton Thwaites has been cast in the lead role as the Boy Wonder in straight-to-series drama Titans. The show will debut in 2018 on the DC Comics-branded digital platform.

Anna Diop to play Starfire in DC Digital “Titans” Series

Warner Bros. will be launching a streaming service focused on their DC Comics assets and the casting is being announced.

Anna Diop from 24 Legacy, Greenleaf and the short-lived CW series, The Messengers, has been cast to play Koriand’r (better known as Starfire) in the Titans series coming to the DC Digital service; a new division of Warner Bros Digital Networks. Koriand’r was introduced by comic legends, Marv Wolfman & George Pérez in the 80s and was an important part of the Teen Titans and future iterations of the group.

Titans and the 3rd seasons of Young Justice, titled; Young Justice: Outsiders are being used as the flagship series for DC Digital when it launches later this year.

24: Legacy alum Anna Diop has been cast in the series regular role of Starfire in the new live-action series Titans.
